Heather Locklear is still looking fab at 48! Although she may have had a Botox
here and a Restylane
there, Heather owes her good looks to three age-defying tips she’s followed throughout her life.
1. Don’t Sleep On Your Stomach
To keep her face from developing wrinkles, Heather tries to sleep on her back. Studies have shown that women who bury their face into their pillow while they sleep will develop deeper lines over time.
2. Sleep On Soft Sheets
Along with sleeping on her back, Heather says she sleeps on soft sheets (600 thread count I’m sure!). Some people believe sleeping on high thread count sheets will also keep your face from developing wrinkles faster. It’s sure working for Heather!
3. Stay Out Of The Sun
Although Heather spent a lot of time in the sun filming her Lifetimes movie “Flirting wit Forty” she probably slathered on a ton of sunscreen, and for the most part stays out of the sun. You often see pictures of Heather out running errands with a baseball cap on to keep her face in the shade.
46 year old Heather Locklear doesn’t look a day over 24 in a recent photo of her in a red bikini on the set of her new TV movie Flirting with 40. Although Heather claims her shape is mostly due to good genes - she stays in shape by doing yoga, cardio, strength training, and boxing. The stress of her recent divorce, her therapists suicide call to 911, and her ex husband’s (Richie Sambora) recent arrest for DUI probably also accounts for her slender figure.
Heather’s 5 day routine includes meeting up with her trainer at 7 a.m. for hour long cario and strength training sessions. For her diet she sticks to healthy fruits, veggies, and sushi - although she loves junk food indulgences like french fries and ice cream. Heather says she loves her body and that she’s never felt more confident that right now, “I can honestly say I look better today”.
